Glacier's True Grit at Sunwood
"Maddy"

One evening, the kids and I were sitting by the pool, just kicking our legs back and forth in it, when Maddy came over and decided she needed to get in (on the shallow end, where there are steps). Well pretty soon she just plunged all the way in and started swimming around. She did this 3 times and had a ball. I told her what an absolutely fantastic dog she was. So, when we were over in Iowa training, Jim threw a few stick in the pond there, and sure enough, Maddy went right in to get the stick and swam back to us. He was tickled to death! What we're working on now is keeping her birdy (pointing and releasing pigeons); and still doing tracking exercises.
