Doc was an outgoing, smart, and beautiful dog with a “long nose”.  He moved effortlessly in the field with a beautiful gait and would hunt all day long.  He finished his AKC Conformation Championship before he was 18 months old.  His dark chocolate coat was harsh with a short coat on head and ears like more of the original Griffons, easy to keep in the field.  His sire Chewie was imported from Sweden and added a great blend of genetics to Glacier.  Doc sired two litters, both have gone on to produce many wonderful hunters, AKC Master hunter titled, UT titled, NA titled and Grand Champions in the ring. His grandkids and great grandkids continue to produce excellent hunters and companions.
